This project began as a simple screened-in porch, but as the design evolved and the homeowners began to better understand how they wanted to use the space, the scope expanded significantly. What was originally intended as a seasonal outdoor area transformed into a fully enclosed, conditioned four-season room that could be enjoyed year-round.
As we worked through the design, it became clear that limiting the addition to a small portion off the back of the house would not fully capture the potential of the space. The homeowners ultimately chose to enclose a much larger area, creating a spacious, light-filled room that feels like a natural extension of the home. The result is a beautiful, versatile living space that enhances both the functionality and overall flow of the house. This project was especially meaningful because it was for returning clients whose kitchen we renovated 15 years ago. Even today, that kitchen still looks current and new, a testament to the quality of craftsmanship and materials. It was a privilege to once again collaborate with them and help bring their vision to life in a new way.
